Happy New Year!! Resolution # 1, read more!!!

Welcome to 2011, and it’s a pleasure to share with you what Sandra and I think are great books to kick off 2011.

Kelly Cutrone is the powerhouse fashion PR giant, famous from reality shows The Hills and The City. Her book If You Have To Cry Go Outside helps all young women find their voice so they can find themselves and take the world by storm. Get ready to be inspired.

You want more money, well start saving it. In Never Too Late Gail Vaz-Oxlade shows you how. Gail serves up straightforward retirement advice that is easily adapted to anyone’s financial situation. I know it’s ironic that I’m telling you to save money by buying a book, but this book is a small investment that will yield great returns. Believe me it’s worth it.

Is 2011 the year you finally fix up your bathroom or kitchen? Before you rip out that toilet take at look at Make it Right: Kitchens and Bathrooms. In his latest book Mike Holmes guides you through the stressful process of kitchen and bathroom renovation.

Sandra, the mystery addict, cold-blooded thriller loving Chick Lit was moved by the heart-warming memoir Little Princes. The book follows one man’s journey to save orphans in Nepal. My fellow HarperCollins colleague Jason Pratt wrote a great piece on how much he loves Little Princes. Check it out!

Read any of our Chick Lit picks? Let us know, we’d love to hear from you.
