Faction Reading List: AMITY

AMITY members are peaceful, seeking harmony in relationships in order to build a society based on mutual understanding. Often associated with the peace & love philosophy of the late 1960s, we think there is so much more to this non-violent faction. Here are some titles that we think top every AMITY faction member’s reading list:

Vinyl Princess by Yvonne Prinz

Indie music queen Allie would fit right in with the Amity crowd!

The Woefield Poultry Collective by Susan Juby

An unlikely cast of memorable characters come together to revitalize an old farm in B.C! If THAT’S not Amity, I don’t know what its!

Emma by Jane Austen

This classic tale of love and friendship is sure to set any Amity heart a-twitter!

  1. I think anything by Stephanie Perkins would be PERFECT for Amity (ie. “Anna and the French Kiss” and “Lola and the Boy Next Door”). Those books make me so gosh darn happy and they are so cute!

  2. Dangerous Angels by Francesca Lia Block. The perpetual romance, friendship, and love that falls from this book every time I open it still amazes me. The sad parts only make it that much more real and beautiful!

  3. Argh! I didn’t notice before that the contest is opened only to people from CANADA!?!? Forget this website. I’m deleting this useless account.
