Faction Reading List: ABNEGATION

The members of ABNEGATION are characterized by  selflessness. They are dedicated to serving others before themselves in order to create a society free from greed. This is a faction of humanitarians; Mother Theresa would totally have been an ABNEGATION member. Here are some books that ABNEGATION would find inspiring:

Little Princes by Conor Grennan

This true story about a young man who dedicates his life to saving the lost children of Nepal pretty much defines what it means to be a member of ABNEGATION.

The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate

In this tearjerker, a gorilla does everything he can to rescue a young elephant from a dire future.

HALF BROTHER by Kenneth Oppel

Ben learns what it means to stand up for another in this award-winning, much talked about book by Canadian Kid Lit King, Kenneth Oppel.
