Here are 100 (ish) words on Forgotten by Catherin McKenzie, a book I’m reviewing for the Forgotten Blog Tour. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun read that still asks some tough questions:
I loved Arranged by Catherine McKenzie because it allowed me to think about questions I’d never asked before about love and marriage, and how we determine who we are meant to be with. Catherine McKenzie asks more tough questions in Forgotten, a story about a woman named Emma who returns from a trip to find that her life has moved on without her. What would you do if you lost everything? Would you start your life over? It sounds a bit depressing, but in Catherine’s capable hands this story is enjoyable, a fun read, and has just the best cast of supporting characters.
I loved going through this journey with Emma because she really goes through a complete transformation, right before the reader’s eyes. She’s really easy to relate to, even though there were times I just wanted to shake her (mainly when it came to the love story), but I still always understood where she was coming from. I could go on and on about this book, but instead I’ll just tell you to pick it up!
