Well, there is no denying it: it’s September. The weather is getting cooler and the leaves are beginning to turn- but no complaints here. Fall is my favourite season for a variety of reasons. Firstly, this time of year offers book lovers so many great new reads! And as such, we’ve flooded this blog with back-to-school tips and hot fall reads. However, that isn’t all this wonderful season offers. With September also comes a calendar full of events!
Throughout September there are several arts and culture-inspired events all across Canada, including the Toronto International Film Festival and the Vancouver International Fringe Festival. But there are so many smaller (but equally as wonderful) events occurring too, and if it’s literary-inspired outings you’re looking for, we’ve got a list for you below!
September 15: Jim Treliving, author of Decisions, will be having a book signing at Costco Langley in Langley, BC at 1PM
Check back throughout the month of September, we will be adding weekly posts to highlight some literary events for book-lovers all across Canada. If you head to any of the events listed, we want to hear about it! Tweet at us (@SavvyReader) to share your experience with any great moments, funny quotes or pictures.
Have fun and happy reading!
