Good afternoon, Savvy Readers! Isn’t today gorgeous? Finally, perfect early summer weather. Just in time for June—which, if you haven’t noticed, is tomorrow! Time flies so here are our weekly bookmarks to keep you in the loop!

1. It’s Wild Awake Week here at Savvy Reader! Every day this week we dedicated a post to the celebration of Hilary T. Smith’s Wild Awake. In case you didn’t know, this wonderful contemporary YA novel is set in Canada! Vancouver, British Columbia to be precise. Follow this link for all the great posts that happened this week including an annotated map, a playlist, and more!

2. Savvy Reader Book Club Winner is being announced today, so check your email – it could be you! Next week, SRBC will share details about their June book club pick, The Enchanted Life of Adam Hope! We hope you all loved the The Golem and the Jinni but get exc ited because The Enchanted Life of Adam Hope comes highly recommended…

3. Chuck Hughes Lobster Cobb Salad Hungry? I am, pretty much always! If you love comfort food, Food Network Canada personality and Montreal chef Chuck Hughes has just the cookbook for you: Chuck’s Day Off. This week Savvy Reader featured a tasty treat of a recipe here. Lobster Cobb Salad? Sounds delicious and summery to me! Pass the fork, please.

4. Father’s Day I’m sure all of you are great sons and daughters and already know that Father’s Day is coming up on June 16th. I’m also positive you’ve all got something for Dad already wrapped away and waiting to be opened. But in case you want to get him a little something extra (and doesn’t he deserve it?) read our list of 10 best books for Dad! We love to help.

5. 25 Signs You’re Addicted to Books Signing off with a little something fun. How many of these signs applied to you? Because pretty much all of them applied to me! Let your book nerd flag fly.
