The Case of Beasts by Mark Salisbury is the perfect book for that person who’s still not over Harry Potter (who is?) and wants the magic to live on. With art and photos from the making of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and behind-the-scenes secrets from cast and crew, they can feel like they’re really part of the Harry Potter world!

A Boy Called Christmas by Matt Haig was made for that Christmas fanatic who is still a child at heart. The story of boy who is trying to keep the spirit of Christmas alive when all he’s received as a gift is a turnip doll (Yup. A turnip.) and goes on an exciting adventure will make them even more obsessed with Christmas. We’re not sorry.

If you know someone who’s really into YA fantasy, then Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard is the book for them! The sequel to Red Queen, this book continues the story of red-blooded Mare Barrow and her strange Silver abilities. But now, she’s out to start a rebellion. This book will keep your friends and relatives occupied all through the holidays… or at least until they finish it (and psst.. the next book in the series, King’s Cage, comes out February 2017!).

Know a dad who’s trying to be handy? Dad Hacks by Dan Marshall will help all the dads out there become the handyman they want to be. Filled with tips and tricks, as well as illustrations that are easy to follow, this book will help all dads everywhere become the ultimate handyman!

Crystals are all the rage right now (who doesn’t like a pretty gemstone that help calm your nerves?) and we all know someone who likes to dabble in cool spiritual stuff. Elemental Energy by Kristin Petrovich, the founder of crystal-infused skincare line Själ, is perfect for those crystal and skincare gurus. Using the wonderful energies and attributes of crystals, your friends and family can make their own skincare products to make them naturally stand out from the crowd.

Music is everywhere, and we all know at least one person who loves music and thinks the Beatles were the best things to happen to the world. Well, they’re not wrong. And now you can show them that you agree with them by gifting them Beatles ’66 by Steve Turner. This book is all about the year the Beatles decided to start really experimenting with music.

Sherlock Holmes is making a comeback (did he ever really leave the scene?) and the mystery lovers in your life will want to stay ahead of this great series written in the style of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.  Art in the Blood by Bonnie MacBird is the first in a series of Sherlock Holmes adventures. Follow Holmes and Watson as they travel from London to Paris in an attempt to stop a string of murders.

During the holidays, we all get the itch to go travelling, mainly to get somewhere warm. But there’s always that one person who’s always travelling to coolest, most exotic locations all the time. The Great Global Bucket List by Robin Esrock is the perfect book for those world travelers! It’ll give them some new ideas and introduce them to cool new things to do. You never know, they may even take you with them!

Everyone’s been talking about The Nest by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney. Unfortunately, we all know someone who has been meaning to read the book but just hasn’t gotten around to it. This is perfect for those people who also love to read about drama in other people’s lives, or need to escape the drama of the holidays!

The Wonder.png

The Wonder by Emma Donoghue is the perfect book for that historical fiction buff who thinks the past was so much better than the present. Not only is this book perfect for those people, but it’s also filled with mystery and, quite possibly, a murder!
