Hiiii Savvy Readers!
It’s the long weekend for a lot of us here in Canada, which means time for long books (right?). What are you reading this weekend (other than this post, silly!)? I hope it’s something REALLY good and that you’ll tell us all about it when you’re back in action on Tuesday morning.
Read on for all the bookish fun we had this week…
The 50 Book Pledge
We did it! Last week, I said “we are so close to having 4,500 readers” and WE DID IT! We now have 4,521 readers. And we’re so happy each and every one of you are taking the pledge with us! We’ve also met 15% of our goal of reading 150,000 books this year, meaning we’ve read over 23,000 books! That’s a lot of words.
Remember: you can pledge anywhere between 12 and 200 books, so sign up now if you haven’t yet and we’ll make sure you stay on track to meet your goal!
This Week’s Featured Read
One of the best things about this week’s featured read is that you can win it… and another really great thing about it is that it’s everything we could ever ask for in a love story 😍. Basically, Liv and Adam are about to get engaged when the find themselves on opposites sides of the life they had mapped out. As their short break becomes a chasm, can they find their way back to each other? More importantly, do they want to?
Here’s what our fellow readers thought:
“Cute book. Well written from both male and female perspectives.” – KT W, Amazon.
“The minute I read this title, I knew I had to read it! Admit it, you thought of Friends too when you saw it!” – Jaime A., Goodreads.
“Kinsella is hands down my favorite chick-lit writer but Lindsey Kelk arrives at a dangerously close second.” – Jennifer, Goodreads.
“This funny read is the perfect book to read by the pool on your winter holiday.” – Ladena, MyFamilyStuff.
