Savvy Playlists: The Alice Network

Listening to music while reading a book may just be the ultimate combination. Music can enhance the reading experience by setting the mood or helping you get into your reading zone. Making the perfect reading playlist is an art, and there are infinite possibilities. Each book deserves a custom playlist, so we’ve decided to do just that!

Have you read The Alice Network  by Kate Quinn yet?

This fast-paced historical novel tells the story of two incredible women during the war, who are searching for answers. Eve Gardiner is a young British woman recruited to become a female spy in the Alice Network in France during World War I. Charlie St. Clair is an American socialite in 1947 searching for her beloved cousin who disappeared in the war. Fate brings the two women together, and they set out to find the truth, no matter what the cost is.

The Alice Network has something for every reader (Spies! Villains! Heartbreak! Romance!), and you need to read it this summer. And, because we love this book so much, we’ve decided to create a modern mix tape for you to enjoy while you read.

This Alice Network inspired playlist features music to transport you back in time to WW1 and WW2 eras, as well as songs by strong female voices to celebrate the courageous characters in the book.

So grab your copy of The Alice Network, queue up the tunes, and enjoy!
