Whether you like to read contemporary fiction, fantasy, YA, or sci-fi, book lovers all share a love of reading. Reading is not just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle.
Here are ten things that all book lovers know are absolutely true:
There is no such thing as “one more chapter” before going to bed.
You’ll be up all night trying to finish the whole thing!
And finishing a book is both the greatest and worst feeling of all time.
You’re satisfied with the ending, but sad to say goodbye to the characters you’ve grown to love.
No matter how much you read, your TBR list never seems to get any shorter.
Even when you vow not to add any new books until you finish your current TBR, somehow it continues to grow…
You can never leave a bookstore empty handed.
I’ll just pick up one…. or two… or ten more books for a rainy day!
When someone says they don’t really like to read, you take it as a personal insult.
What do you mean, you don’t read?!?!?!?!?!
Vanilla? Pumpkin Spice? Absolutely not! The best smell is book.
Fill my home with the scent of 1000 books, please!
You silently (or vocally) judge people who see the movie without reading the book.
Just read the book first, people!
If you see somebody in public reading, you always make an effort to find out what book it is.
“Hey there, stranger! Whatcha reading??”
You never leave home without a book.
No trip to the bank, work, or even the corner store is complete without a book in tow!
Your ideal night involves staying in, cozying up, and getting lost in a great book.
Best. Night. EVER.
