The New Yorker noticed an interesting trend this week. With the release of movies and books like Guillermo del Toro’s “The Shape of Water” and Melissa Broder’s The Pisces, love stories between humans and sea creatures are becoming more and more popular. So why is this suddenly a thing? Jia Tolenentino investigates, and you can read her article here.
