And we’re back again, Savvy Readers, with another brand-new edition of Bookmarks! Let’s kick off your long weekend with some great bookish news.

1. Fall Book Festivals

Although summer has come to an end, there are so many great things to look forward to. Mark your calendars, because this fall season has an abundance of amazing book festivals you won’t want to miss. Luckily for us, the Toronto Star has collected all the great book festivals with their dates, details and links. So convenient! Let us know on twitter which festivals you’re attending. 2. Emily Dickinson Series Trailer on AppleTV+

Time to grab those old poetry books off your shelves! AppleTV+ has dropped a trailer for the new Emily Dickinson series. Hailee Steinfeld is starring as Emily Dickinson and plays the character through her coming-of-age. She’s goes through her socially awkward and rebellious teenage years while aspiring to be a famous writer. AppleTV+ is set to stream the series this fall. Watch the trailer now and tell us what your think!

3. Marvel Celebrates 80th Anniversary

Calling all Marvel fans! Marvel is celebrating their 80th anniversary with a 1000 issue Marvel Comic!  All of your favourite superheroes including Iron Man, the Hulk, Spider-Man and so many more are all starring in this issue. This specific comic brings a new object that gives you a taste of what the future holds in the superhero universe. This special edition comic was available Wednesday this week. For all of you hardcore fans, did you get your hands on this issue? Check out Marvel’s comics since the beginning 

4. The Seuss Experience

Bring on the nostalgia! you won’t want to miss this instagramable experience starring one of my childhood favourites. They are opening a Dr. Seuss interactive museum in Toronto before travelling to Boston, Seattle and Houston. There will be different rooms inspired by The Cat in The Hat (my personal favourite!), Horton Hears A Who, and The Lorax. Will you be going Savvy Readers? We want to know!
