Another week has come and gone, and it looks like those of us in Ontario are in for a FABULOUS weekend! If you, like us, are planning on spending the weekend in your backyard with a cold drink and a great book, here’s all the news you need to know going into the weekend!

1. Neil Gaiman has a new book! 


Earlier this week, Entertainment Weekly announced the exciting news that beloved author Neil Gaiman has a brand new kids book coming our way this December! Pairing with the incomparable illustrator Chris RiddellNeil Gaiman‘s new book is called Pirate Stew, and it’s a hilarious rhyming read-aloud tale of pirate babysitters and the mayhem they bring! While we all eagerly await Neil Gaiman‘s next foray into adult fantasy, we can’t WAIT to get our hands on this one! Read more about the announcement here.

2. Hilary Mantel ALSO has a new book coming!


Speaking of new books, award-winning, bestselling, and critically acclaimed author Hilary Mantel, best known for her Thomas Cromwell series, has a new book coming in October! From the twice Booker Prize winner and internationally bestselling Hilary Mantel, Mantel Pieces is a collection of writing – essays, book reviews, memoir – from over thirty years contributing to the London Review of Books. 3. Register for the Frenzy Pride Event now!
