Happy Friday Savvy Readers! I don’t know about you, but this week has passed by in a blur for me. Fortunately, something new and exciting happens every day in the book world, and this week was no exception. Here’s what you might have missed!

1. The FOLD’s Jael Richardson announced that HarperCollins Canada will publish her second children’s book.

The FOLD founder and CBC book columnist is set to publish her second children’s book, Dear Me, in 2022. Writing on Twitter, Jael described Dear Me as a letter she wishes she could’ve read as a young girl and which aims to remind girls that they can and do change the world in extraordinary ways. Read Jael’s announcement here. Her debut novel, Gutter Child, is also set to publish with HarperCollins Canada in January 2021.
